I just found out that our good friend Sheila (Steve and Sheila from Ontario) had a close call in Ft. Meyers, FL. Sheila had to have emergency surgery on her lower intestines and gall bladder on their way back home to Ontario. She is doing well thanks to Steve and the Dr.'s at the emergency room. Steve says he is glad it didn't happen while they were at Flamingo. If it had, they would probably have gotten a ride on the lifeline chopper!! Thank goodness she is recovering well and should be ok so they can come back to the 2010 flotilla. They are nice folks, if you've never met them you've missed out on some good people!! Send them an email and wish Sheila a fast recovery!! And thanks Steve for taking care of her! This must be going around, I had emergency gall bladder surgery before the flotilla and I can verify how bad the pain is!! It's BAD!! Best wishes Sheila!!!!
