I've been so busy that I've not had much time to scope out the Forum or paddle lately. I don't know how I missed these pictures of the Rideau Canal float, but I did. What a pleasant surprise, when I took a break from studying.

I really want to head up that way next year, one way or the other. That looks like such a nice place to paddle and the scenery appears to be very picturesque....the food sounds good, too! I have some property in Ontario that I really need to check on and next year is going to be the year....maybe I can combine that and the Float, if ya'll have another one next year. Regardless, I would love to explore this area and this time of the year has to be the perfect time to do it in.

Thanks for the sidetrack...I needed it...remember, the world was built on dreams!

Happy Paddlin' Ya'll!

Hi Mike

Thanks for posting those photos for me. They are great!

For those of you that were there I did get down to DELMARVA and built my replica SOF of the 1931 Disko Bay

Here is a link to some of the Launching Pictures at 6AM on 2 Oct.

I really like the last shot!
